| 1995 | At the end of the year, National Central University established the "Arts and Culture Activity Task Force" and incorporated it into the general education system. |
| 2001 | At the end of the year, the proposal for the establishment of the Humanities Center was approved in principle at the administrative meeting. |
| 2002 | The Ministry of Education has officially approved the establishment of the "National Central University Art Center". |
| 2007 | On April 17th, the Humanities Research Center was approved by the Ministry of Education and officially became a university-level research center. |
| 2009 | In August, the Humanities Center continued its Kunqu Opera Development Project by hiring Associate Professor Hung, Wei-Chu. |
| 2014 | In April, the Humanities Research Center established the "Research Office for Hermeneutics and Cultural Interdisciplinary Philosophy" to strengthen its international connections. |
| 2017 | In November, the "Kunqu Opera Museum" was established. |
| 2022 | On February 1st, Center for Humanities and Arts was established, consisting of "General Affairs Division", "Exhibition, Performance and Promotion Division" and "Kunqu Opera Museum". |
